Anticipating Spring with La Redoute and Gingembre Rouge

Let's flee from the sweater weather and imagine a warm day in spring!
I recently went to two different media events displaying all the beauties coming up this spring and summer.

First stop - La Redoute SS14 collections. You can expect many different capsule collections from various guest designers like Cédric Charlier or Gat Rimon.

Here are a few items I instantly fell in love with:

This colorful sequin skirt from Soft Grey caught my eyes and the tribal pattern really catapulted me into spring and summer. Don't you feel the same?

These leather buckle cutout boots are also from Soft Grey. They seem to be perfect for the transition from chilly to warmer days.

I also loved the sequin skirt from Gat Rimon. Sequins seem to take over the summer trends! The blue summer top is also from the same designer. Have a look at Gat Rimons pieces here!

Second stop - the photos below were taken in a caffè in Zurich called Bellavista. The place turned into little Zanzibar for the launch of Gingembre Rouge - a perfume cologne water from Roger & Gallet embodying the many scents of Zanzibar!

Look at the beautiful ginger-flowers! The ginger blossoms are one of the scents along with lychee, orange, tangerine, pomegranate, white musk, cedarwood, fresh and glacé ginger - this newly and fruity composition was created by the perfumers Alberto Morillas and Amandine Clerc-Marie.

Can you guess the crispness of the perfume?

Cheers to Gingembre Rouge and to a beautiful spring/summer 2014!
