Terra Azzurra by Emilio Pucci - Guerlain summer 2012

After showing you the spring line of Guerlain it's already time look forward to some amazing products that are going to be available in Switzerland starting May 4th. The wonderful collaboration of Emilio Pucci and Guerlain* resulted in extraordinary, lust-worthy products that take us to the Italian Riviera.

Are you ready to imagine with me a turquoise sea, burning sun, azure sky and sandy beaches?

Terra Azzurra bronzing powder and blush

The star of this collection for me is undoubtedly this bronzer and blush compact. I am really impressed with the varnished wood case that holds itself together with tiny magnets. In the first picture I sculpted my cheekbones with a light dust of this multifunctional powder.

Aqua Allegoria - Lys Soleia

Are you looking for a floral summer fragrance? Guerlain's most recent perfume creation features ylang ylang, vanilla and white lily. As with most floral compositions, I mostly love the dry down when the scent becomes softer and in tune with the warmth of the skin...

Terracotta gloss No 12 Porto Azzurro
Terracotta Khol Kajal No 02 Blu Acqua

These are the other two products I used to do my makeup. A very light sweep of the terracotta Khol in Blue Acqua, which is a very lovely indigo blue and the Terracotte gloss in Porto Azzurro, which looks really dark blue in the bottle but goes on very sheer.

Overall I am in love with every product I used so far from this line and can't wait to try the Météorites Perles d'Azur as well once it hits counters.

Hometown - the sequel

Yesterday I was back in my hometown Winterthur and spent a day like three years ago with my cousin. It was really sunny but also windy so I chose to wear an oversized black jacket and spiced up my outfit with this wooden collar necklace. In another post I’m going to talk a bit more about the designer of these necklaces so stay tuned!

I wish you all a relaxing Sunday and hope you're full of energy to start a new week!

Taste of spring

Just a little post showing the laid-back outfit I wore to have coffee with a friend in town yesterday afternoon. The weather was gorgeous and every café on the streets was bursting with people enjoying the sunny day.

I paired my so called job interview shirt (I indeed wore it to mine) with my parka which is still a staple for me this spring. The leopard leather tote is something my boyfriend would hate (he can't stand anything animal print, weird huh?) but as he's not in town these days I really don't mind... ^^

Have a great Sunday and don't forget to enter the giveaway if you're interested!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

You might have already heard of BB creams before, the famous blemish balm which is especially popular with Asian women. It’s an all-in-one makeup like formula I first discovered with the Korean brand Missha. Since February there is a new product on the European market: Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector.

MiJi and I were kindly invited to the launch* of this new product and found out that Garnier formulated it specifically for Caucasian skin types needs and European women’s wishes. This BB cream is therefore a little bit different than the ones available from Asian brands. As someone who now extensively used both BB creams I can say that there are pro’s and con’s depending on what you expect. Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector promises (and keeps!) 5 things: harmonious complexion, 24h moisture, anti-age effect, glowing skin and SPF 15. I am the kind of girl who likes layering products, which is also what most Asian women do. Garnier’s BB cream on the other hand is great if you’re more the no-fuss, low maintenance kind of girl as this product will save you lots of time in the morning. It really gives you an overall glowy face that feels plump and rejuvenated thanks to its energizing smell. Compared to Asian brand’s BB creams this one has rather low SPF, which isn’t a big deal for me as I am used to wear a sunscreen underneath anyways.

Are you curious to try this product? We are giving away one Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector for light skin types so you can form an opinion of your own! All you have to do is like the link to this giveaway posted on our Facebook Fan Page. The giveaway is open worldwide and a winner will be selected Monday March 5th 8pm CET.

Good luck!
