Hummus on top of flatbread is one of my most favorite appetizers and I love to serve this dish when my friends come over. Regular hummus is great as it is but every now and then, as variety is the spice of life, it's also nice to add fresh basil and pistachios into the mixture.
Ingredients for regular hummus:
400 gr. canned chickpeas, shed the skins under running water
2 cloves garlic, crushed
100 gr. tahina
1/4 cup of water
1/2 cup of lemon juice
2 tbsp. olive oil and salt to taste
How to:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor
Optional:
pistachios, lightly toasted in a pan
fresh basil, place everything with a pinch of salt in the mortar and smash, then combine with the hummus made previously
Add a small amount of olive oil in the well and garnish with parsley, or mint

Tönt hammer!
Basil in hummus makes SUCH a great difference, though my basic recipe is also a bit different. In fact I never make regular hummus anymore.
A few years ago I was fan of this blog, but somehow I lost contact. Today, in the middle of the night I remembered it and with the words "style" and "seeking" (and a little help from google) I found it again!
I'm so happy to see that after these years you girls keep updating your blog, Styleseekingzurich was one of the first personal-fashion-blogs I followed and loved.
Thank you for all the inspiration, keep blogging!
