Day trip to Montalcino

One cannot think of Tuscany without thinking of the beautiful landscape with the symbolic cypress trees. On our way to Montalcino we admired the beautiful Tuscan landscape once again and were mesmerized by the streets lined with cypress trees and hay bales.

Montalcino is a hilltown in Tuscany known for its red wine, the Brunello di Montalcino. Before we indulged in the wine tasting we went to see the main sights there. One of them is the Fortezza, a fortress built in 1361 with a gorgeous view over the town.

What I was wearing:

Dress: Oysho Belt: vintage Bag: Asos

view from the fortress

The narrow streets in the historical center are full of little shops selling leather goods and local delicacies.

Next up: my impressions of Siena

Wow Nesli, you have surpassed yourself! You look so elegant and pulled together! The photography is simply amazing! Although you're wearing a casual dress, I thought it was a formal evening dress at first - way to make it look like a million bucks ;)

@ all: Thanks for your feedback! I try my best to make good photos so it's more pleasurable for you guys. :)

These pictures are stunning, I want to pack my things ang go there right now! The country side looks exactly like the one in my most favourite movie "Stealing Beauty" from Bertolucci, really recommend you to watch it if you haven't seen it yet <3
