I could eat french toasts anytime of the day but they just taste particularly delicious on a Sunday morning. Below is the recipe (click here for German):
Ingredients: serves 2
2 eggs
50ml milk
20gr flour
20gr sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground cinammon
1 pinch of salt
3 slices bread
1 tablespoon butter
maple syrup
2 eggs
50ml milk
20gr flour
20gr sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground cinammon
1 pinch of salt
3 slices bread
1 tablespoon butter
maple syrup
How to:
Whisk all the ingredients in a shallow bowl until foamy. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture, turning to coat thoroughly. Let excess drip back into bowl. Cook the bread slices turning, until both sides are nicely browned, about 2 minutes each side.Transfer to a warm plate and keep warm in oven. Repeat with remaining bread and egg mixture. Serve with maple syrup or sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

Thank you everyone! I have a feeling you like the food posts almost more than the other ones... :)
@Faridah: I worked a bit on the photos using Photoshop. I don't know the proper words to explain it but I'll try anyway. I added a bokeh texture to my photos using this tutorial:

Maybe this answers your question?
Oh, and I have a Canon 500D.
