The half-tuck

You know that we don't post our outfits daily and I think this one isn't blog-worthy either. It's not that we look THAT interesting everyday at university running from class to class. Although it might seem that all we do is drink coffee and eat lots of yummy pastry. :)

But here's why I'm posting it anyway: I think this would look MUCH better with destroyed boyfriend jeans. I don't want to cut holes with scissors or use any bleach but would rather get a natural distressed look. So, how do I do this? Does anyone have experience with destroying? I found this article but I'm not sure which way to go. I'd love to hear from you if you tried that and what works best/ what doesn't work at all... THANK YOU!!!

I love your style, this outfit is totally blog worthy! You always look so put together, and I love your bag and nailpolish
I've always been too scared to destroy my denim. I'm going to be lazy and just purchase some Current/Elliot destroyed pairs for summer xx

I just destroyed some jeans. Just go to like a Home depot (or Baumarkt) and by sanding paper. Then just use that to think out certain parts of the jeans, like along the pockets, where the knees are etc. You can only do it a little, to barley fade it, or more. But whatch out, if you do it really hard it will leave holes. I like it a lot better than the scissor cut look.
hope this helps

Use sandpaper (had to look up the word in a dictionary, you know what I mean, right? :)), and if you want it ripped you can use a paperknife or another sharp object to make a small hole, then just pull out threads till you get the look you want. Remember that the more you use the pant, the bigger the holes... Good luck :D

Love this bag! And can't really help you for the jeans since I totally ruined a pair of mine by trying to be all creative ;) xx

I wish I looked that polished during my college days! Your bag is really cute! I have this skinny jeans from urbanoutfitters that I cut off using my scissors and made some crazy slashes. It turned out really well and I'm happy with it. I didn't really follow any guidelines or have a specific picture of what I want so I guess it depends on what kind of destroyed style you're looking for.

Sandpaper works, as well as dirt. I assume that it's easier to sandpaper wet jeans than dry ones, but I'm not sure.

The outfit you're wearing doesn't look bad at all, but I see what you mean.

Ben de bir yerlerde jiletle kesikler atıp makinede yıkanarak elde edilebileceğini okumuştum pek DIY insanı olmadığım için denemedim, sonuç alırsan bana da haber ver :)))

I do agree with you that the outfit would look perfect with destroyed jeans. I've never tried to destroy my jeans, but I have heard about using a cheese grater.
Love the red bag!! :)
